The Dymatize Nutrition Advisory Board is comprised of leading researchers and expert practitioners in the fields of sports performance and nutrition. Our science and innovation teams collaborate with the Advisory Board to ensure we have access to the latest research on ingredients, product science, and performance improvement.
Dymatize is committed to supporting research to maximize, substantiate and validate the performance of our products and continue advancing our role as thought leaders and innovators in the industry.
Dr. Robert Wildman serves as Chief Science Officer for Post Active Nutrition which includes Dymatize, PowerBar and Premier Protein. Rob received his PhD from The Ohio State University and earned his MS from Florida State University and BS from the University of Pittsburgh.
Rob currently serves as adjunct research faculty at Texas Women's University and Kansas State University and has authored 4 books including Sport & Fitness Nutrition and The Nutritionist: Food, Nutrition & Optimal Health and has contributed over 25 chapters and 50 research papers and abstracts.
Brad is widely regarded as one of the leading strength and fitness experts in the United States. Schoenfeld is the author of multiple consumer-oriented fitness books, including The M.A.X. Muscle Plan and the seminal textbook, Science and Development of Muscle Hypertrophy.
He is a regular columnist for Muscular Development magazine, has been published or featured in virtually every major fitness magazine, and has appeared on hundreds of television shows and radio programs across the United States.
Tony Ricci is a highly accredited Athletic Performance Specialist and Performance Nutritionist. He has a lifetime of practice and academic study dedicated to, fitness, nutrition, and sports performance.
Through his company FIGHTSHAPE International, a multi-discipline Health/Wellness and Performance Enhancement Company, Tony has worked with professionals in wide-ranging athletic disciplines; routinely coaching in fight performance with 6 World Champions and 11, top-10 ranked athletes in Boxing, Kickboxing, UFC and Bellator.
Dr. Kalman has been involved in over 200 clinical trials and projects within the pharmaceutical, medical and nutrition fields. He has published over 75 abstracts and more than 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts.
Dr. Kalman has also published over five academic text books, all which include aspects and discussions of substantiation.He is also a Co-Editor of one journal (JISSN) and on the Editorial Board of three Scientific Journals.
Dr. Bill Campbell is an Associate Professor of Exercise Science and Director of the Performance and Physique Enhancement Laboratory at the University of South Florida.
Bill has authored 3 books on sports nutrition including his most recent work titled Sports Nutrition: Enhancing Athletic Performance.
Dr. Ormsbee is the Associate Director of the Institute of Sports Sciences and Medicine and an Associate Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Food and Exercise Sciences at Florida State University.
His research expertise involves the interaction of exercise training, nutrition and supplementation to improve metabolism and achieve optimal body composition, human performance, and health for both athletes and clinical populations.
Abbie is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science, since 2011.
Her research interests center around exercise and nutrition interventions to modify various aspects of body composition, cardiovascular health, and metabolic function.
She is an active researcher in the field of metabolism, sport nutrition and exercise performance, in both healthy and clinical populations. She is currently a KL2 scholar working to translate exercise as medicine.
John Eric is an assistant professor and Applied Physiology Laboratory Director at Mississippi State University.
He received his PhD in Exercise Science at Auburn University investigating carbohydrate metabolism and human performance.
Paul is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and The Obesity Society and is a member of the Advisory Board for the American Heart Association (Capital Region).
He is a leading expert in nutrition and fitness lifestyle interventions to optimize health and physical performance.
He has published more than 50 research studies on performance nutrition and exercise training in the world’s most respected peer-reviewed science journals.
Shawn is an Associate Professor and Graduate Director in the Department of Kinesiology & Health at Rutgers University.
He is also the Director of the Rutgers Center for Health & Human Performance and the current ISSN Vice President.
Trisha is currently an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Kennesaw State University. Dr. VanDusseldorp’s educational background includes a BS in Exercise Science from Southwest Minnesota State, a MS in Human Performance: Applied Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, and a PhD in Exercise Physiology with a Nutrition emphasis from the University of New Mexico. Trisha is currently the Vice President of the International Society of Sports Nutrition.
Trisha is passionate about studying the cellular and molecular responses to supplementation and nutritional interventions, while also examining changes in muscular strength / power and body composition.
